Attendees

Who can participate?

Anyone 18 years or older. To test-drive a vehicle, participants will also need a valid driver’s license.

What vehicles will be available?

Each test-drive event will feature different models depending on what the dealership has in stock. The digital experience will allow you to view a walk-around of the Lincoln Aviator, Corsair, Nautilus or Navigator.

If I can't attend in person, is there an option to tour a vehicle online?

Yes. If you are unable to attend in person, you can participate by going through a digital experience that opens the day after the in-person test-drive event takes place. This digital experience will be open for seven days past the in-person test-drive event date.

How will my donation be contributed?

For your participation to be considered valid, you must fully complete the preregistration, test-drive a vehicle or participate in the digital experience and fill out the post-tour survey for the event. Participants will have until midnight the day after attending in person or online to complete the post-tour survey. Upon receiving your survey, Lincoln will donate to the sponsor organization on your behalf.

Organizations

How much money can we raise?
You can earn a maximum total of $8,000 per event; up to $6,000 through valid standard drives and virtual walkarounds, and up to $2,000 through valid bonus drives and virtual walkarounds. For participation to be considered valid, the participant must fully complete the preregistration, test-drive a vehicle or watch an entire vehicle walk-around and complete the post-event survey.
How should I promote my event?

Be creative! Send the provided customized invitations to community organizations. Use social media sites (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc.) to share the news. Utilize the Lincoln Driven to Give creative materials available on the website here.

How long does it take to receive a donation check from the event?

Your organization can expect to receive its check approximately four to six weeks after the event date. Please note that checks cannot be made out to the dealership or to an individual.

Dealerships

Can I work with more than one organization?

No. You may only partner with one organization during a single Lincoln Driven to Give event.

Do I have to work with a pre-approved organization?

No. You may work with other organizations outside of the pre-approved organization list. If you are interested in working with a charitable organization that is not pre-approved but in accordance with the Organization Guidelines, simply indicate so on the enrollment form. Once Program HQ receives the request, it will go through an organization approval vetting process, which will take five to seven business days. If the organization is approved, the dealership will receive an official confirmation email. If the request is denied, the dealer is eligible to select a new organization and submit a new enrollment request. However, because events are available on a first-come, first-served basis, your dealership is not guaranteed an event until a new event enrollment request has been submitted and is approved by Lincoln via a confirmation email. We do not recommend planning or promoting with the desired organization until confirmation of approval has been received from Program HQ.

How many events can I host?

All Lincoln Dealers are eligible to host four fully funded Lincoln Driven to Give events during 2021.

Are there limitations to when I can host an event?

Yes. You must enroll at least five weeks before the day you want to hold your event. Please register as early as possible to secure the dealership’s preferred event date.

How do I cancel an event?

To cancel an event, you will need to send an email at least two weeks before your event date to lincolndriventogive@gtb.com stating you would like to cancel your event. Please include the following information in the email: event ID, dealership name, partner name, event date and the reason you are canceling your event. If there is an emergency, call Program HQ at 1-866-917-6373.
